From the airport

Taxis are a standard, well-regulated way to get from the airport into central Rome.

• Official white taxis line up at a taxi rank outside arrivals
• Rome has a fixed flat rate to anywhere within the old Aurelian Walls (which includes the Colosseum/Palazzo Manfredi area): €55 for up to 4 passengers, luggage included
• Ride takes roughly 40–50 minutes depending on traffic
• Only use the official white taxis with the Roma Capitale sign on the door — avoid drivers soliciting you inside the terminal
